Materials
Solid white oak, hardwax oiled, with 3mm natural cork on the contact faces. Oak is used here rather than walnut because the riser takes the most handling of anything we make and oak marks less readily.
Care
Wipe clean. If the cork compresses after a couple of years, lift it off with a putty knife and glue a fresh sheet down with contact adhesive — we will post you one for the cost of the stamp.
