Materials
Solid walnut carcase with mitred and splined corners, wool felt lining on all inside faces including the lid. Hardwax oil outside, nothing inside — oil on felt is a stain waiting to happen.
Care
Wipe the outside. Lint-roll the lining. If the lid ever becomes tight in a humid month, leave it open for a day rather than forcing it — the timber moves and comes back.
